Board of Directors
How the Board is selected
The TCM Board of Directors is comprised of the Officers, Committee Chairpersons, and members at large up to a total to twenty-two. Each year the Nominating Committee conducts an analysis of how well the Board is balanced and what resources or Board member perspectives we may be missing. The Board strives to have representation from a good cross-section of the community, including representation from the population we serve. The results of the analysis is shared with the Board, and each member is asked for a recommendation for prospective new members. Resumes are reviewed, nominations are made, and new members are elected by a majority vote of the Board. All Board members take office on January 1, following their election and serve a three year term.
Board Responsibility
It is the responsibility of the Board to determine and establish the direction, scope and policies of TCM; ensure that TCM's financial affairs are conducted in a responsible, professional and open manner; identify and supervise the committees deemed necessary to accomplish the work of the Board.
