This same lady applied for a small no-interest loan from our Elizabeth (Lib) Provence Loan Fund. "Sharing House helped me with a no-interest loan for $250 so that I could be finally fitted with dentures. I had them fitted a week before Christmas so I was able to enjoy Christmas dinner. Thanks to the wonderful assistance of the Sharing House I can now live a normal life like other people." Anonymous.

Financial Freedom through Microloans
Transylvania Christian Ministry - Sharing House endeavors to faithfully serve all Transylvania County residents by making available small, no-interest loans to needy individuals & families. In March 1996, TCM - Sharing House established the Good Samaritan Loan Fund in compassionate response to the desperate need for small, no-interest loans to persons in our local community who would not typically qualify for bank loans. The individuals & families who qualified for our loan fund agree to make small, regular, installment payments until the loan is completely repaid. The Good Samaritan Loan Fund later became known as the Elizabeth (Lib) Provence Loan Fund in honor of the founder of TCM - Sharing House, Elizabeth (Lib) Provence (1916-2001).
