The best way to get involved is to come for a tour and see the Sharing House in full swing and imagine yourself in the mix!
It is an understatement to say that we love and appreciate our volunteers! Every single week there are over 120 volunteers who give time and energy to propel the mission of Sharing House.
Volunteers spend time packing food orders, sorting clothes, displaying the produce, fixing the leaky roof. Volunteers listen deeply to neighbor's stories, teach canning classes, create fundraising plans, shop for school clothes and share in co-mentoring groups with folks trying to "get ahead". Volunteers pray for our community, organize food drives, create financial budgets and publish articles for the newspaper. Volunteers empty the clothing drop-box, welcome neighbors as they walk through the door and make appointments. Volunteers give hope by sharing a smile when times are tough. Volunteers are a force of love for neighbors in need!
